Traveling Through Pages

I originally gave this 5 stars, but after taking some time to think about it, I decided on 4.25 stars.

I enjoyed this one much more than Beautiful Creatures! I didn't give it 5 stars because of the pacing and the poorly described mythology of the Caster world. The pacing got to be slow at parts and I feel like some of the story was not necessary. I got confused with the rules and descriptions of the Caster ways because there isn't a full background description, the book just sort of throws it at you. Also, some events were not very believable at times.

Now that the bad stuff is out of the way, let's get on to the good. It's great how we learned more about Link and Ridley, I really loved Ridley's character and a certain event that took place with her involved (Don't want to spoil it!!). I'm not sure how I feel about what happened to Link in the end though, but I think it could turn into an interesting storyline. A new character, Liv, was introduced and I liked her humor and spunk. Lena got frustrating for me, especially in the beginning because I felt like she just needed to talk to Ethan and everything would be okay, but then again if she did that it would be boring! I was confused on my feelings for her, but in the end everything is okay. One more thing: MACON =] that is all.

The ending was great and left me excited to read the next one (I love Ridley =D )!
