This is a satisfying ending to the series. I liked the characters and character relationships a lot. I liked Annah's point of view better than Mary's and Gabry's. I still don't think it was necessary for Carrie Ryan to write sequels to 'The Forest of Hands and Teeth', but it was pretty good. I liked how tough and strong Annah was and also her development from being so closed off to accepting love. I also really liked the main theme of the difference between being alive and living. That was a nice philosophical touch=] I wasn't too into the insta-love though. It didn't over-power the story, but I just didn't feel like it was believable. Overall, a good conclusion.
